Karen Anapoell

Karen Anapoell serves as the General Counsel for Innovation Refunds, where she oversees all legal matters, including corporate governance, best business practices, legal compliance, contract drafting and negotiations, legal strategy, and board relations.

Prior to joining Innovation Refunds, Karen served as the General Counsel for Granite Escrow & Settlement Services, which is now a division of First American Financial. In addition to providing legal advice to the company, Karen also oversaw the Holding Escrow division, where she structured and drafted intricate agreements for clients, administered holding escrows, and managed all financial aspects of the transactions.

Karen earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1994 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She is a licensed attorney and a member of the State Bar of California.  She lives in Orange County, California, with her husband Steve, and they have three children.
